[1]Mandela Barnes for Wisconsin
I'll be honest:
The worst part about running for U.S. Senate is the huge amount of money it takes to build a successful campaign.
I know the idea of money in politics is something that stresses me out every day. There’s way too much of it. But I also know that in order for us to win, we have to be competitive.
We're going to be up against some powerful special interest groups that will spend unlimited sums of money to try to defeat us. And a few of my opponents have vast amounts of personal wealth to fund their own campaigns.
I'm proud to say that our campaign is doing things differently. We've decided to reject corporate PAC money and instead rely on lots of people making small donations.
But that means from time to time I need to ask...and today is one of those days.
Can I count on you to make a contribution to my campaign for U.S. Senate? Any amount you can give will help us build the kind of campaign that can win back this seat for Democrats.

When we go on to win this primary and defeat Ron Johnson, it will be thanks to the early support we received in 2021 that made it possible to win in 2022.
Thank you so much for being a part of this campaign.
All my best,
Mandela
