We need your help to make sure communities of interest are heard in Carson City!

For more than a year, community organizations belonging to the Nevadans Count coalition, have been in communities across our state educating and engaging Nevadans on the census and redistricting process. Now we are in Carson City fighting to make sure all of the input we have gathered in those communities becomes a reality by getting maps that do not divide communities of interest. This isn't about any party or elected official for us - we are non-partisan organizations. This is about representing the communities we serve within our coalition and making sure we are lifting up their voices with our Legislators. 

We need YOUR help! It is urgent that we have input from people across the state because the clock is ticking on this Special Session. Provide your support for the congressional map proposed by the Nevadans Count coalition. This map takes all of the information and feedback the communities have provided to our coalition in the past year and puts it into a map that represents what we have heard the community ask for. 

YOU can support the Nevadans Count map by: 

• Providing a supportive comment on the legislative website
• Testifying in opposition to SB1 TODAY AT 10AM during the redistricting committee hearing (use call information listed below)
• CALL AT 10AM: 1 (669) 900-6833 and enter Meeting ID 813 8034 6077.
• Calling members of the assembly and asking them to oppose SB1 and support the Nevadans Count map

If we don’t make our voices heard on this now, the Latino community in Clark County may not be kept together, which is exactly the opposite of what the community wants.
