Team Sands reporting from another busy week on the trail! Carla continued her
tour around Pennsylvania this week meeting with hundreds of Pennsylvanians and
discussing the issues that are most important to them. Carla hit the ground
running with three stops on Tuesday starting at Hoober Farm Equipment in
Juniata County, heading over to Bob's Army and Navy Store in Clearfield County
to talk about her support of our second amendment rights and capping off the
day by speaking to Clarion County residents. On Wednesday, Team Sands was on
the road again to tour the Lackawanna College School of Petroleum and Natural
Gas and then topped off the night by attending the SRCC Reception in Lackawanna
County. Team Sands was on the move through the weekend as well with a busy
Saturday full of Penn State football and Carla receiving the Humanitarian Award
of the "Four Chaplains." This busy week has Carla energized and ready to
continue the fight.

Carla Sands

Ambassador Carla Sands announced her candidacy for U.S. Senate in July 2021.
Carla is a mother, businesswoman, and conservative.

 

Carla grew up in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. She went on to follow in her father
and grandfather’s footsteps, as the third generation in her family to practice
in their local chiropractic office.

 

President Trump called on Carla first to join his Economic Advisory Council
and later to represent the United States as the Ambassador to Denmark.

 

During her tenure, Denmark increased its defense spending, while U.S. exports
to the Kingdom of Denmark rose over 20%, resulting in the creation of
additional jobs right here at home. In January 2021, Carla received the
Department of Defense’s highest civilian honor, the Medal for Distinguished
Public Service, for her work to increase security in the Arctic region.
