Friend: In a moment, I'm going to ask you to donate to our campaign to keep Georgia and the Senate blue. I wouldn't ask if it weren't urgent. So before I ask, I want to be absolutely clear about why your support now, before our mid-month deadline, is so critical – and what could happen to the future of our progressive agenda without it.

I'm humbled to represent Georgia in the U.S. Senate as its first-ever Black senator. I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth – not even close. I had 11 brothers and sisters, and I grew up in public housing. But through hard work and the support of my family and community, I went on to become the senior pastor at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s church. Now, this kid from Kayton Homes housing projects is fighting in the Senate to make sure everyone has a voice in our government – and that all of our children have a fair shot at the American dream.

Right now, I'm fighting hard to protect voting rights, rebuild our economy and so much more – but while I'm focused on our progressive agenda, the GOP is spending millions to attack our movement and retake Senate control. I can't win these critical fights for justice without grassroots folks like you by my side. So please, I have to ask:

Will you give $5 or more right now – as much as you can spare before our crucial mid-month deadline – to win in Georgia and defend our Democratic Senate majority?

We had to pull out all the stops to win the battle for Senate control – and we simply can't afford to let up now. With the Senate split 50-50, Republicans need to flip just one seat to take back the majority for Mitch McConnell – and experts from The Washington Post to NBC News confirm that I'm the GOP's top target for defeat.

Our progressive agenda is hanging on by a single thread in Georgia's Senate race, and I'm going to need the help of this grassroots team to save it. But my last election was one of the most expensive in history – so you can bet the GOP will spend even more to try and take this seat this time around.

Keeping Georgia blue is the ONLY way we can keep the Senate in Democratic hands. That's why I'm personally and urgently asking, friend:
