My opponents in this primary have raised a lot of money. One of them has taken large donations from corporate lobbyists for tobacco, big pharma, and the healthcare industries. Another has donated $1,000,000 of his own money to his campaign. And it's no secret that the Republican incumbent Senator from Iowa, Joni Ernst, is bankrolled by dozens of corporate PACs and corporate lobbyists that she answers to instead of answering to the people.
I'm not taking any money from corporate lobbyists or corporate PACs. As an attorney and advocate for kids (who put herself through school), I don't have $1,000,000 of my own money to spend.

If only the wealthy or well-connected get into Congress, there will be no one speaking for the rest of us.

We need your help. We need to raise $6,900 to meet our October fundraising goals. This will ensure we can keep our campaign strong and reach all the voters we need to win.
