Oftentimes when I call donors to thank them they say, “Oh wait, this is a real person?” Then, “Wait, this is actually you, not a volunteer?”

Yep! And I’ll be calling more donors this upcoming week to thank them. On these calls, I thank people and ask what their political priorities are. It’s hugely helpful for me to know what people are concerned about right now.

I don’t just call big donors, either — $1, $5, it doesn’t matter. I’m calling.
