Folks, it’s been a busy few weeks and our work isn’t over yet. That’s why I’m reaching out — our campaign is up against our critical mid-quarter deadline tomorrow.

I’m going to ask you to chip in toward our goal in a moment. But first, let me share what your contribution makes possible.

I’ve been fighting to include important climate measures in the once-in-a-generation Build Back Better Act. That includes putting money back in the pockets of people who invest in electrifying their homes and vehicles.

A few weeks ago, we helped elect strong Democrats in local New Mexico races, from candidates for city council to mayor to the soil and water conservation boards. And I took part in the COP26 climate summit, helping the U.S. lead by example in sharing our plans to cut emissions and address the climate crisis.

Lastly, we just celebrated the passage of the historic bipartisan infrastructure bill that will invest billions of dollars in New Mexico’s infrastructure — from improving access to clean drinking water and repairing outdated roads and bridges to expanding broadband access.

These are huge wins for New Mexico and our country.

Now, we need to build on all we’ve accomplished by finally passing the Build Back Better Act, taking bolder steps to tackle climate change, supporting more crucial races up and down the ballot, and more. But I’m counting on your support to power this work.

So, here’s that ask I promised you: Can you chip in any amount toward our fundraising goal? It’s our last mid-quarter deadline of the year and it’s important we meet it to keep our work on track as we head into 2022.

Thank you. Any amount you give, whether it’s $5, $10, or more, makes a real difference.

— Martin
