to make to reach voters from the hood to the holler, ensure that voters
know who Charles Booker is, and turn out for him on Election Day. But

The countdown begins.
There are now exactly 365 days until Election Day. That means for the next
365 days our team needs to:
* Bring our organizing work to all 120 counties of Kentucky, from the hood to
the holler and everywhere in between.
* Train thousands of volunteers to help conduct phone banks, knock on doors,
and register Kentuckians to vote.
* Amplify our movement’s message to replace Rand Paul with a Kentuckian who
understands firsthand the challenges so many families and working people
face right now.
* And prepare for every attack Rand Paul and his friends in the GOP are going
to throw to stop our fight for bold, progressive change.

Kentuckians have been suffering for decades at the hands of leaders like
Rand Paul. While our state has been falling behind in life expectancy,
health, and quality in education — our politicians have just been getting
richer.
That’s why over the weekend we were so excited to announce our campaign
vision for people-first change with a slate of policy priorities including
Medicare for All and universal basic income called the Kentucky New Deal.
Charles summarized our mission perfectly here: “I want more Kentuckians
having money in their pockets. I want everyone to have great, quality
health care. I want everyone to be safe in their homes and have true
community safety all across Kentucky. I want us to be healthy.”
But if we want to bring this vision to life — we have to be ready to put
in the work for the next 365 days and take on all of the special interest
donors who will be backing Rand Paul in this race.
Rand Paul and his wealthy allies will use the oldest tricks in the book:
they’ll call us names, they’ll distort facts, and they’ll lie to preserve
their grip on power. They’ll spend millions of dollars on television ads
to divide us. We can’t fall for it.
