We're now less than a year away from the 2022 midterm elections — which means our team has been ramping up our efforts to continue growing our campaign's momentum while also supporting Jamaal in Congress.
Together, we are building out a bold and determined progressive movement composed of activists, allies, neighbors, family, and friends who all have the same goal — to bring true, transformative change and bold representation to NY-16 and beyond.
Just in the last few months alone, our movement has achieved milestones in supporting our communities. From raising over $50,000 to mutual aid groups and progressive allies who are doing the hard, on-the-ground work to support our city to advocating for impactful federal funding to provide support and resources to our neighborhoods — we're shaking the status quo and we're seeing change.
In Congress, Jamaal knows that our fight for progress is nowhere near done. He recognizes that every day is a new day to recommit our politics to the fight for climate justice, paid leave, a care work focused economy, ending child poverty, a livable wage, and more. And as we work towards the midterm elections next year, Jamaal will remain focused and determined to continue amplifying our needs and advocating for the improvements we deserve.
