Like you, I was thrilled to see Republicans score a big victory in Virginia
last week, electing Glenn Youngkin as Governor and sending a crystal clear
message to President Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer that Americans are
sick and tired of their tax and spend agenda.


I wanted to provide you with a quick update on a few of the things I'm doing
to fight against the Biden administration's overreach and stop their plans to
push America to the left.


PARENTS SHOULD HAVE THEIR VOICES HEARD


Parents deserve to have ultimate authority over their children’s education,
but the radical Left and the Biden Administration want to take that away.
Recently, Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) published a memo that would limit
the free speech of parents who want to be involved in their children’s
education. That is unacceptable, which is why I grilled Attorney General
Merrick Garland about his memo and why I joined my Republican colleagues in
demanding that the DOJ rescind it.

INFLATION AT 30-YEAR HIGH


As Democrats recklessly pursue trillions of more out-of-control spending,
inflation is already hitting hardworking North Carolinians. We're paying more
for just about everything and this Thanksgiving is expected to be “the most
expensive meal in the history of the holiday.

proposed a bill

to keep food prices down and provide relief to farmers, and why I'll continue
to fight against the Biden-Pelosi-Schumer tax and spending spree that will make
inflation even worse.



WELCOME HOME JOHNNY


In October, Susan and I joined the Independence Fund to welcome Afghan Combat
interpreter “Johnny” to Charlotte. Johnny fought alongside American
servicemembers and repeatedly risked his own life to protect our troops. He is
beyond grateful to come to America, where he and his family are safe from the
Taliban and where he is reunited with the veterans he served with. Welcome
home, Johnny!
