In the wake of Republican Glenn Youngkin’s victory, my team and I asked if you’re still feeling confident about Democrats’ chances of winning in the 2022 midterms -- and the results were... mixed.

Some folks are still feeling confident, while others are doubtful that Democrats can pull off wins up and down the ballot.

But, there was one piece of heartening news from this survey -- despite doubts about the 2022 midterm elections as a whole, a majority of you are still very confident in my chances of holding my seat!

I’m also confident, John. As long as I have all of you in my corner, I know there’s nothing that we can’t achieve.

So if you’re going to take away anything from Virginia’s election results, let it be this: We need to start ramping up our campaign for 2022 right now.

Early investments are crucial for preparing for anything our opponents throw at us. As a top target of the National Republican Congressional Committee, I’m already getting attacked and national Republicans are prepared to spend millions to unseat me. Plus, I have a mid-month fundraising deadline at the end of the week.

That’s why I have to ask: Will you help me stay vigilant by chipping in today?
