This is amazing -- It’s been 3 months since I’ve launched my Democratic campaign to become Governor of Iowa.
The outpouring of support I have received, the amount of Iowans I have been able to talk to, and the communities I have visited have assured me that we are on the right path to creating long lasting and positive change in Iowa.
But before I update you on the details of our campaign for a better Iowa, would you consider chipping in $3 to support my campaign? Our $10,000 mid-month goal is close and I still have more cities to visit and more Iowan folks to meet! »
In just 3 months, I’ve been to over 102 events across 23 different counties in 43 cities to meet with farmers, small business owners, families, city council members, and parents from across the state of Iowa.
I believe that true leadership starts with listening to and understanding the community you’re leading.
I believe that Iowan’s know what’s best for Iowans -- so the more cities and towns I am able to reach and the more Iowans I am able to connect with, the more informed and community focused my campaign will be.
From walking the picket line with UAW members at the John Deere plant in Waterloo, Davenport and Ankeny, to visiting the Teske farm in Eldora, and door knocking for Ankeny School board and city council candidates, I have been able to see how hopeful Iowans are. I refuse to take that hope for granted.
I am incredibly hopeful too. I know Iowa is worth the work, and I know together we can create a better Iowa for generations to come.
We still have so much more to go -- with election day almost a year away I still have thousands of more Iowans to meet, hundreds of more conversations to have, more doors to knock on,
Will you help me get there? Your support is the only thing keeping my gas tank full. So, if you can afford it, would you be willing to chip in $3 to my campaign for Governor? »
