John — we’re respectfully asking you to make a $5 donation to help Defend the Senate. [[link removed]]
Sorry to be so blunt, but we’ve set a goal of raising $10,000 by tomorrow and right now we’re still short of where we need to be.
Hitting this goal is so important because with a Senate majority this slim (it’s 50-50!), we need to pull out all the stops to make certain that Mitch McConnell and his right-wing cronies aren’t able to steal back the majority and unravel all of our progress.
We’re going to fight back against McConnell and the flood of outside money that will rush in to take back the Senate — and we’re going to do it one $5 donation at a time. Because that’s how we’re going to defend our majority and continue to deliver for the American people.
So as Mitch McConnell and National Republicans work to try and take back the Senate majority, we have to ask:
Will you chip in $5 today to help defend our Democratic Senate majority and keep Mitch McConnell out of power? If we all do our part we will hit this $10,000 goal with no problem and have the resources to compete in races across the country. [[link removed]]

There are FIVE Republicans retiring from the Senate next year, meaning that we have an opportunity to flip open seats in states like Pennsylvania and North Carolina and strengthen our Democratic Senate majority.
Mitch McConnell is laser-focused on these races too, so winning will be an uphill battle — but we’ve done it before, and together we can do it again and solidify our majority.
Thank you for all you do,
