As we celebrate our 50th anniversary and 50 years of community service, ACCESS, the nation’s largest Arab American community nonprofit, has been recognized and awarded as #58 of Michigan’s top workplaces of 2021 by the Detroit Free Press, joining a list of 174 Michigan-based organizations to be recognized with this honor. That means ACCESS is in the top 35 percent!
The announcement comes as lifelong nonprofit leader and activist Maha Freij takes the helm as ACCESS’ newly appointed President and CEO and is recognized as Crain’s 2021 100 Most Influential Women, officially marking ACCESS as both a woman-led and majority woman-run nonprofit organization—a feat that makes ACCESS a uniquely welcoming workplace for historically underrepresented communities.
