The upcoming House vote will be an important milestone, but it is only the first critical vote before President Biden can sign the Build Back Better Act into law. If the House vote succeeds, the bill will then head to the Senate, where a 50-50 party divide means that we have zero margin for error. All Democratic senators must support this bill.

The stakes could not be higher, which is why LCV must keep our campaign going until the final votes are cast. Unless we rally overwhelming support from our grassroots movement, we could lose critical votes in the Senate to corporate polluters and special interests who are leaning hard on senators facing tough reelections.
