If I had just a few seconds to tell someone what our campaign stands for, this is what I’d say:

We’re the only 100% grassroots campaign in Illinois’ Eighth fighting for universal healthcare like Medicare for All, bold climate action, an end to all student debt, and tuition-free college.

Will you chip in $5 to grow our grassroots movement in the Midwest so we can unseat a corporate politician funded by Big Pharma, defense contractors, and right-wing special interest groups?

My opponent in this race is the poster child for a “corporate politician”. Every cycle, he takes hundreds of thousands from defense contractors, Big Pharma, and private insurance corporations. And every cycle, he stands against popular, common-sense policies like reducing the Pentagon’s bloated budget and universal healthcare. In fact, he’s built one of the biggest war chests in Congress from trading his votes for campaign cash and he doesn’t even bat an eye. 

We’re a real threat to corporations and their grip on power in Congress. So please, chip in any amount to join our grassroots movement so we can put power back where it belongs — in the hands of the people.
