Friends,
On November 13, 1960 my parents made the decision to move my family and I to
America in search of freedom and prosperity.
61 years later, and the very policies that my family fled from are knocking on
America’s front door.
Leaving the life we knew in Cuba behind and coming to this country was the
most important moment of my life. Had my parents not had the courage to make
that decision, my family and I would be living under a communist dictatorship
without freedom of speech, assembly or press.
In honor of what I have dubbed my “Freedom Day,” I am asking you to join me in
