Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, and Ohio will impact which party takes the majority after the 2022 midterm elections. It’s why Republicans are hellbent on tipping the scales in their direction in those states. Take a look at how the new maps in Texas and North Carolina would guarantee Republicans an unfair balance of congressional seats:

Texas congressional: Percentage of votes each party won in 2020 congressional elections (R: 54.8%, D:45.2%) versus percentage of seats each party would have won under the GOP's gerrymandered map (R:63.16% versus 36.84%)
North Carolina congressional: Percentage of votes each party won in 2020 congressional elections (R: 50.28%, D:49.72%) versus percentage of seats each party would have won under the GOP's gerrymandered map (R:71.43% versus 28.57%)

But here’s what Republicans don’t want you to know → the Freedom to Vote Act would ban partisan gerrymandering and that ban would go into effect immediately.

According to our team’s analysis, both the Texas and North Carolina congressional maps would FAIL the test and would not be allowed to be used for the midterm election.

Texans and North Carolinians could have another shot at fair maps -- but we need Congress to pass the Freedom to Vote Act! Make a donation today to help All On The Line end partisan gerrymandering.

All On The Line has already invested more than $1 million to support democracy reforms like the Freedom to Vote Act. But each time Republicans block the bills -- as they did recently -- we have to expand our advocacy efforts.

We set a mid-month goal of raising $36,500 by Monday at 11:59pm to help us pass federal democracy legislation and hold conservative map drawers accountable.

Can I count on you to help us reach our goal by making a donation today of $36.50?
