Our mid-quarter deadline is approaching, and my team is setting a $12,000 grassroots fundraising goal to get our November fundraising back on track. Here’s why it’s so important:

The elections that played out earlier this month did not inspire confidence in Democrats’ chances at protecting our majorities in 2022. Republican enthusiasm is high, and Democrats need a winning message to protect the House and Senate next year.

But it’s not too late to change that. And in Congress, that’s exactly what I’m fighting for: material benefits and meaningful relief for working families to show that Democrats get stuff done.

Last week, we passed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework bill to secure a historic $1.2 trillion investment toward rebuilding roads and bridges, building green infrastructure, and expanding the broadband network.

But our work doesn’t stop here. We still need to pass the Build Back Better Act: a $1.75 trillion social spending package that includes the largest climate investment ever in addition to major investments into housing, health care, education, and the care economy.

Now, our sights are set on delivering on our promises to the American people by passing the Build Back Better Act — which includes once-in-a-generation investments in housing, climate change, and the care economy.

It won’t just take a winning message to compete with Republicans next year — we’ll need the resources to compete with their multi-million dollar war chests too. John, will you make a contribution before our mid-month deadline?
