On November 13, 1960 my parents made the decision to move my family and I to America in search of freedom and prosperity.
61 years later, and the very policies that my family fled from are knocking on America’s front door.
Leaving the life we knew in Cuba behind and coming to this country was one of the most important moments of my life. Had my parents not had the courage to make that decision, my family and I would be living under a communist dictatorship without freedom of speech, assembly or press.
From Cuba to Congress, I have fought tooth and nail to achieve the American Dream. I refuse to let radical socialists like Nancy Pelosi and AOC destroy everything that my parents believed in when they moved my family to this great country.
