Dear John,
<[link removed]>Tell Congress We Need to Cooperate with Cuba! <[link removed]>
Monday is a busy day in the struggle for peace! First, we will be participating in the People’s Filibuster on Monday morning. Then, there are two events happening in the afternoon: a Cuba solidarity rally and a Poor People’s Campaign rally. CODEPINK DC will be at both events, and we’d love for you to join us wherever you can!
Alice, Olivia, Ally and Leonardo will be “fili-busting” outside of Mitch McConnell’s house bright and early from 7AM-8AM! We are looking for more folks to come speak throughout the 25 hour historic People’s Filibuster!
What: 25 Hour “People’s Filibuster”
When: Sunday 4PM - Monday 5PM
Where: Stanton Park, Outside Mitch McConnell’s House

Next, Alice, Leonardo and Michelle will be rallying in front of the Cuban Embassy, saying no to regime change and sanctions!

Where: Cuban Embassy, 2630 16th St NW, Washington, D.C.

Please note: The Cuban right wing is expected to hold a protest at the same time and place. To stay safe, we're reminding those who come out to remain nonviolent, ignore any attempts at instigation and not engage with the right-wingers.
Can’t join us at the Embassy? There are other ways to show solidarity with Cuba, such as urging your Representative to sign the letter to President Biden calling for lifting certain sanctions and engaging with Cuba. Click here for more details and to take action <[link removed]>!
Olivia and Ally will be rallying with Poor People’s Campaign to Congress to #HoldTheLine on Build Back Better. We must continue to show up until our demands are fulfilled!
What: Moral Monday Rally for Build Back Better
When: 12PM ET
Where: US Supreme Court, 1 First Street NE, Washington, DC 20543
More Info & RSVP Here! <[link removed]>
Can’t make it to SCOTUS? Click here to tell Congress to vote no on the Pentagon budget and yes on funding healthcare, education and green jobs <[link removed]>!
We hope you are able to join us on Monday for some of these important actions. We must continue to demand that Congress prioritize funding the needs of the American people, and abandon its endless spending to further threaten lives of the Cuban people.
In Radical Solidarity,
Leonardo, Olivia, Ally, Michelle, Alice and the CODEPINK team
