www.bradyunited.org [www.bradyunited.org]John, t omorrow marks four years since the Rancho Tehama shooting in Tehama, CA. The gunman used an untraceable “ghost gun” during the massacre, shooting pedestrians in their cars and children in their school.

In all, the gunman killed five people and injured 11 others, including five children.

Tragically, the community of Tehama, CA, is not alone, John. In recent years, ghost guns have proliferated across the country, becoming the weapon of choice for prohibited purchasers. In fact, the Rancho Tehama gunman was barred from purchasing and possessing firearms.

Yet he was able to obtain a ghost gun because they are unregulated and require no Brady Background Check. But right now at Brady, we are taking a stand against ghost guns to save lives.
Brady Legal is defending the victims and survivors of the Rancho Tehama shooting in our nation’s first civil lawsuit against the ghost gun industry. In California, we helped pass local ordinances to ban ghost guns. And federally, in Congress, we’re calling on the ATF to regulate ghost guns and the parts to build them.

As you can see, we’re working tirelessly across Congress, the courts, and our communities to combat ghost guns and save lives — and we won’t give up. But we cannot do this vitally important work alone. [[link removed]] We need support from dedicated grassroots supporters like you. Please, John, will you rush a gift to Brady right now?
