John,
I’m not a career politician; I’m an everyday person. I was raised by a single mom here in Omaha, I worked my way through college, and I was the first person in my family to graduate with a Bachelor's degree. I know what it’s like to work hard every single day — and now I’m ready to work every day for the people of Nebraska’s Second Congressional District.
To set ourselves up for success in next year’s crucial midterm elections, our campaign has to invest in key resources now. But I don’t have a network of ultra-wealthy donors at my disposal, and I don’t take contributions from corporate PACs. I’m relying on grassroots supporters like you to power my campaign and ensure I can flip this seat blue.
I hate to ask for your hard-earned money, and I wouldn’t ask if it weren’t important — but this is really important. Please, if you are able, can you chip in to my campaign today?

I know what the people of NE-02 need because I am a lifelong constituent of the district. I know that everyday folks want affordable and accessible health care, we want coronavirus relief measures, and we want good jobs and schools. And I know that with your support, I can win this race and be the Representative who never forgets where she came from or who she works for. Will you contribute $5 or more right away so that I have the resources to become Nebraska’s first Black Congresswoman?
