After Redistricting, Mike Levin's District "Less Secure"
- FiveThirtyEight

This is exactly what we feared, John.

California's Redistricting Commission just unveiled their first draft congressional maps for the next decade. The new lines are going to present an even bigger challenge for Mike than we initially thought.

After combing through the data, Team Levin -- as well as analysts at FiveThirtyEight -- determined that Mike's district will be much "less secure" in 2022. This comes just after the OC Register reported that Republicans could "stand to gain" in CA-49 after the lines are established.

With our district becoming more favorable for Republicans, we’re working around the clock to educate new constituents about Mike’s record fighting for our community. Meanwhile, National Republicans listed Mike as "a top target," and signaled to their dark money super PACs to attack earlier than ever. We need to move quickly, John:

With this concerning news in front of us, we're hoping you'll step up with your very first donation of $10, $25, or even $50 TODAY to support Mike's re-election effort. Please know that every dollar contributed will go directly to work keeping CA-49 blue for the long haul.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

We're confident that when voters hear about Mike's work representing this district in DC, there's no question who they will support. But we'll be starting from scratch in some areas, which means we need to communicate much earlier than usual.

John, this is not the time to sit on the sideline. Chip in your first $10 to make sure CA-49 stays blue.
