In all seriousness, Lawrence VanDyke is pretty terrifying. And he's been nominated by Trump to serve on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals (which covers Nevada). VanDyke's career includes such highlights as working for the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), an anti-LGBTQ hate group, running unsuccessfully for Montana's Supreme Court on a stream of dark money, and writing amicus briefs opposing abortion, same-sex marriage, environmental protection, and tribal water rights.
We need Nevadans to send a clear message that we do NOT support a narrow-minded elitist like Lawrence VanDyke on the 9th Circuit making decisions that affect us. ADD YOUR NAME to our petition to let both our Senators know where Nevada stands.
