Last week, I proudly voted to pass President Biden’s infrastructure bill to repair America’s roads and bridges and bring other important updates to the very fabric of our nation.

With Kansas expected to receive nearly $4 billion in funding from this legislation, it’s clear that the infrastructure package will propel us into the modern age.

But, I’d like to hear from you. Will you take this quick survey and let me know what you think about the new infrastructure package?

TAKE THE SURVEY

This bipartisan infrastructure legislation is a $1.2 trillion initiative to repair highways and bridges, expand high-speed internet services, and develop new electric buses. On top of all of this, the bill will fund necessary repairs for existing public transportation, ports, airports, and passenger and freight railways.

These improvements will create good-paying jobs, help mitigate climate change, and create new pipelines of opportunity here in KS-03.

In our state, the infrastructure bill brings the opportunity to make generational changes for Kansas families — including $2.6 billion in highway funding, part of it specifically addressing the traffic congestion at the 167th St. Interchange.

Broadband internet will finally reach rural areas, more electric car charging stations will be installed, and our water system will get an upgrade replacing old lead pipes.

The possibilities are endless. Out of all these prospective projects, which part of the infrastructure bill are you most excited about? Click here to let me know.

I couldn’t be more thrilled about the progress my colleagues and I are making in Congress to help our country build back better.

Thank you for your input on our work,

Sharice
