I just met with my team and they gave me some bad news: We’re still about $2,000 behind our mid-month fundraising goal.

As soon as they told me we were behind, I knew I had to reach out to you, John.

I’m so proud to be running a people-powered campaign. I refuse to spend my time on the phones begging for donations.

But that means sometimes when I’m running behind on our crucial goals, I have to reach out to folks like you and ask you to chip in $3
So I’m humbly asking you to help my campaign build the resources to take on Republican war chests — will you chip in $3 before midnight?

I’m so honored to have your support, John. Together, we’re unstoppable.

Thank you,
