This week in the Governor's Office was spent honoring those who served our country and serving those who live in our state. From a tribute to our veterans to millions of dollars in funding for child care and family programs, Governor Ducey and his team dedicated another week to supporting Arizonans of all ages.

In the meantime, the exact opposite is happening in Washington — the federal government is neglecting Arizona. Governor Ducey penned an op-ed about it in The Wall Street Journal. Read about it and our other announcements below.

Governor Ducey Invests $1 Million To Support Arizona Boys & Girls Clubs ([link removed])

“It’s no question that the pandemic brought countless challenges upon our kids," said Governor Ducey. Governor Ducey Orders Flags At Half Staff To Honor Maricopa County Sheriff's Lieutenant Chad Brackman ([link removed])
Governor Ducey ordered flags at all state buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset Friday, November 12, 2021, to honor Maricopa County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Chad Brackman who died Wednesday when he was struck by a vehicle.

Lieutenant Brackman, a 22-year veteran of the Sheriff's Office, was struck by a vehicle while conducting traffic control in Scottsdale. He was taken to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. He is survived by his wife and children.

Governor Ducey Orders Flags At Half-Staff To Honor Border Patrol Agent Tony A. Perez ([link removed])
Governor Ducey ordered flags at all state buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset tomorrow, November 13, 2021, to honor Tucson sector U.S. Border Patrol Agent Anibal "Tony" A. Perez, who died on November 5 in the line of duty.

Chief Patrol Agent of the U.S. Border Patrol's Tucson Sector John Modlin honored Agent Perez and his service ([link removed]) yesterday, November 11.
