Stock and securities that have increased in value and that have been
held for at least a year and a day can be deducted as charitable
contributions at full market value. For tax purposes, the date of
transfer applies. To qualify as a charitable contribution, your stock
transfer must be to the Center for Reproductive Rights.
Electronic transfers can be fast, simple, and secure. However, you
will want to plan in advance to avoid the rush of transactions at
year's end. For more information about how to make a gift of
stocks and securities,
please contact the Center by visiting reproductiverights.org/stock.
