Did you know that the federal government was suing businesses that do not conform to the Biden Administration’s warped view of biological sex?
These strange views, in the form of bureaucratic guidelines from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), compelled employers to “allow employees into restrooms that correspond to the employees’ gender identity, no matter the individual’s biological sex, whether the individual has had a sex-change operation, or whether other employees have raised objections or privacy concerns.”
The truth is that the Biden Administration was attempting to outlaw single-sex bathrooms. It is completely outrageous and has no purpose other than to force radical, unpleasant changes on everyday Americans -- even in our bathrooms!
That’s why America First Legal sued the Biden Administration to stop this madness. In a class-action lawsuit against the EEOC’s attempt to erase both the First Amendment and the reality of biological sex in the name of gender identity, we won a resounding victory!
In a 70-page opinion, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas rejected the Biden Administration’s arguments that Americans’ rights to religious freedom and free association must give way to its radical gender-identity policies. Instead, the Court upheld business owners’ right to have and enforce codes of employee sexual conduct reflecting Biblical values, to have and enforce sex-specific dress codes, and to have and enforce policies that promote privacy, such as requiring the use of separate bathrooms, on the basis of biological sex.
Our legal victory has confirmed the following simple fact:
In America, employers still have the right to require and maintain sex-specific bathrooms that comport with biological reality. It is stunning that America First Legal had to go to court to keep our right to safe bathrooms intact - but those are the insane, nihilistic views we’re up against.
