It's abundantly clear, John:

Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are going to abuse the filibuster—an outdated Senate procedure that is inherently undemocratic—to block critically important and widely popular legislation.

Voting rights. Reproductive freedoms. Meaningful action on global climate change. None of this will be possible while Republicans use the filibuster to hold the Senate hostage.

I believe it’s time to get rid of the filibuster and make good on the promises we made to the American people. To do what we were elected to do.
