In 2016, I won by only 1,017 votes, beating the incumbent Republican in one of the closest races in history.

Regardless of who my opponent is in 2022, this will be a hard-fought race, and I'm not taking anything for granted.

With our 50-50 Senate majority, Republicans only have to flip one seat to retake
control, and Mitch McConnell is all in on New Hampshire. If I lose, Democrats
will lose our slim majority -- affecting everything from health care protections
to the fate of Roe v. Wade.

Make no mistake, no matter who emerges as the Republican nominee, this will
still be one of the most competitive Senate races in the country. Winning in a
swing state like New Hampshire isn't easy, and it isn't cheap. Mitch McConnell
and his dark money allies are already flooding the state with millions of
dollars in attack ads, and they will continue to do everything in their power to
flip this seat red.

With all eyes on New Hampshire, it's critical that my campaign has the resources
necessary to build a robust on-the-ground campaign that is ready for whatever
