At this stage, some effects of climate change are inevitable -- but we still have time to curb CO2 emissions and prevent some of the worst climate disasters from occurring.

But it will take a global effort to mitigate the effects of climate change -- Sean and President Biden had to articulate clear priorities at the summit to get buy-in from other countries.
