If we fall short of tomorrow night's fundraising goal, our eventual nominee and Democrats down the ballot could be in serious jeopardy next fall.

DemocratsJoin us.

Let me be upfront, John:

We know how to win, but we have to fund the plan. The DNC is facing a critical fundraising deadline tomorrow night at midnight, and based off the numbers I have in front of me, we're no longer on target to hit our goal. Can you be one of the 49 more supporters from Washington we need to chip in $3 donation to get our party back on track before tomorrow night?

I can't emphasize enough how important these deadlines are, John. Every fundraising goal is carefully calculated and used to create our party's overall budget, which then determines what percentage of our 2020 strategy can be executed. As of right now, we've got a long way to go to fully fund a program that will beat Donald Trump. As I've told you before, this strategy works! We used it to flip governor's mansions, make Nancy Pelosi Speaker of the House, and win hundreds of seats across the country. Our strategy is guided by the DNC's four strategic goals for the next 14 months, but we need to fund them this year:

  1. Overhaul our tech, data, and cybersecurity to better target voters and volunteers, which makes all the difference in a tight election and impacts just about every Democrat running for office
  2. Double down on our 50-state strategy and build world-class battleground organizing and voter protection infrastructure -- this means staff to identify voters, get them to the polls, and protect their votes once they're there
  3. Hold Trump accountable through our DNC War Room and take the fight to him in battleground states
  4. Run a fair, transparent, and inclusive presidential nominating process that leaves our nominee in the strongest position possible to unify our party and win in the general election

Democrats' path to victory in 2020 rests on each of these pillars -- all of which require a tremendous amount of resources to implement. If we fall short of tomorrow night's fundraising goal, our eventual presidential nominee and Democrats down the ballot could be in serious jeopardy next fall.

Can you rush your first $3 donation of 2019 in order to help hit our October fundraising goal? Your contribution will give Democrats everywhere -- including our eventual presidential nominee -- the campaign infrastructure and tools they'll need to beat Trump and his allies in 2020.

Thanks for stepping up,

Sam

P.S. Falling short of tomorrow's goal would put us that much further away from electing a Democrat to the Oval Office and winning seats nationwide -- but there's still time to make up the difference. If just 49 more supporters from Washington are able to chip in $3 before tomorrow at midnight, we'll be able to hit our October fundraising goal and stay on track of our party's critical 2020 strategy. John, can I count on you to donate?
