Fracking is hurting our communities and our planet, and it’s time we end it.

Will you add your name next to Val’s to support moving to ban fracking?

John, Val is no BS, just science and here’s the truth — we need to move to ban fracking.

It’s a matter of public health and the future of Pennsylvania's economy.

Fracking, a harmful industrial process used to extract fossil fuels, is accelerating climate change and hurting our kids and communities.

In fact, a grand jury report from Pennsylvania’s attorney general detailed the adverse effects on families who live near fracking sites — children with nosebleeds and chronic fatigue, families with nausea and dizziness, dead livestock, and sludge clogging well-water pumps. These aren’t just abstract stories — Val has visited these communities and met with families to hear directly from them.

In addition to the clear public health need, this is also about the future of our Commonwealth’s economy — we must ensure the green jobs of the future are created here in Pennsylvania, not in China, and we must invest in clean energy and provide job training for those transitioning from the fossil fuel industry.

We should start with an immediate ban on all new fracking permits, and quickly banning fracking near homes and schools. Val is ready to help start this process and create new good-paying union jobs in Pennsylvania at the same time.

If you’re with her, add your name to support an end to fracking.

Thank you.
