But the hope and hard work doesn’t stop here.
Canadians are sending Justin Trudeau and the Liberal team back to Ottawa with an important mandate to invest in the middle class, continue to fight climate change, keep our communities safe, and grow an economy that works for everyone. And we’ll also need to keep working hard to grow our movement and start new conversations in every part of Canada.
Andrew Scheer has made it clear that he will be working hard to stop our progress, and Stephen Harper has already come to his defence. We built the most open and inclusive political movement in Canada by stepping up our hope and hard work immediately after the 2015 campaign, and we need to be more ready than ever to ensure we can keep moving forward with our positive plan to build a better future for all Canadians.
