CONGRESSIONAL MAP TRACKER
☑️ Texas: GERRYMANDERED maps signed by the governor
☑️ North Carolina: GERRYMANDERED maps passed by the state legislature
⚠️ Georgia: GERRYMANDERED maps proposed by the state legislature
⚠️ Ohio: GERRYMANDERED maps proposed by the state legislature
⚠️ Wisconsin: GERRYMANDERED maps proposed by the state legislature

Hey team -- This tracker isn’t a comprehensive list of what’s happening in redistricting this week or even a full list of the states that our team is juggling. But I wanted to give you a visual rundown on the status of a few of our target states.

Because while we’re fighting for fair congressional maps in these states, Republicans see them as an opportunity to gerrymander their party into winning the majority in the 2022 elections and beyond.

We are less than a year out from that election. Will you donate $36.50 -- about our average grassroots gift since the last midterm election -- to help us fight for fair maps?

I want to really emphasize one thing: despite the checkmark next to Texas and North Carolina, the fight isn’t over in those states -- even though map manipulators ignored their constituents and passed gerrymandered maps.

Voters will have another chance to challenge those maps for giving Republicans an unfair advantage if Congress passes the Freedom to Vote Act. Passing this legislation will finally make partisan gerrymandering of congressional maps illegal -- something the Supreme Court refused to do when they had the chance.

This is why our team is always asking for your support. We are fighting battles on multiple fronts -- not just in our target states, but also with the Republican obstruction in Congress.

Our team is trying to raise $36,500 by our mid-month deadline on November 15. Can I count on you to chip in?

-- Saumya
