John, President Trump attended game 5 of the world series at Nats Park, where the whole stadium not only booed him but chanted "lock him up." I have to admit, I wasn't entirely surprised upon hearing this because, in 2016, DC voters voted for his opponent. However, what was shocking was the timing of it all. It was supposed to be a great day for the American people and our allies. Just hours before the game, thanks to the remarkable bravery of our Armed Forces, our intelligence community, and the leadership of President Trump, it was announced that the most ruthless terrorist in the world had been killed and brought to justice. Instead, our president was nationally disrespected. I believe that Joe Scarborough, a news anchor on NBC, said it best when he said "We are Americans and we don't do that. We do not want the world hearing 'Lock him up' to this president or any president.“ I am standing with President Trump to defend him against the radical liberals trying to take him down but I can't do it alone. I need your help to stay ahead of the fight and I need you to make your voice heard now to help us reach our end of the month fundraising goal. The death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is a significant step in our fight against ISIS and the mission to make the world a safer place. We must continue on this path, with our president, together.
