We honor the men and women who served our nation’s armed forces on this Veterans Day. Our country continues to be the land of the free because of the brave who served.
Since our country’s founding, selfless heroes have provided for the common defense. From the cannons sounding in our Revolution to those who served in the War on Terror, our armed forces have always been prepared to defend our country and way of life.
May it be a parent, sibling, spouse, or neighbor, we all know someone who has served our country.
We celebrate the strength, bravery, and dedication of our veterans. I urge you to thank a veteran today. Take the time to make a phone call or send an email. They have risked their lives for us, and it’s appropriate to honor them today and every day.
