Folks,

I’m writing to you because today is a very important day for me. It’s Veterans
Day and as a veteran myself, I know how hard it is to return after defending
our country. To all the other veterans out there reading this, thank you for
your service and sacrifice for our country. And to the families and loved ones
of veterans your support is invaluable.

Once I’m in Congress, I plan to fight for better services and support for
those who have served our country. Nobody should return from fighting for this
country and receive no support getting back on their feet. Veterans should
never be in the street or have to struggle with health issues silently and
there should be more career opportunities waiting for them to take advantage of.

Please join me today and every day in thanking our Veterans for their service
to our country.
