Like many other brave Americans, Sgt. Marcus Flowers joined the U.S. Army at age 18 and spent his career serving his country in combat zones across the world. His first overseas deployment was at an intelligence listening post in central Europe, on the doorstep of communism. He spent a decade in combat zones in Iraq and Afghanistan as a contractor with the Department of Defense, and held a top secret security clearance. Now, Marcus is running for Congress -- in part to serve other veterans like him. He believes we must honor the brave men and women who defend our country, not just with our words, but with our actions. That includes:
