Please join me this Veterans Day to remember and thank all those who have served our nation and the sacrifies they have made.

Every day, we owe Veterans for the freedoms, rights, and liberties that we hold so dear in our United States. Although there is only one Veterans Day a year, we need to take every day as an opportunity to thank those who have served - and continue to work for improved access to physical and mental healthcare, well-paying and fulfilling jobs, and secure and affordable housing.

I'm honored to represent Virginia's 11th Congressional District and the more than 80,000 veterans who live here, and work hard every single day in Congress to deliver the benefits and respect that service members and their families have earned. During the pandemic when many lost their jobs and financial security, I helped pass the Federal Worker Leave Fairness Act and guarantee uninterrupted access to the essential benefits many Veterans depend on. I will keep fighting to fund and improve the Department of Veterans Affairs and ensure we deliver the care that Veterans and their families deserve.
