My friends,

On behalf of the Montana Democratic Party, I wanted to take a moment to wish you all a very Happy Veterans Day.

To our Veterans: thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service to this country. Your sacrifice for this country has allowed us the privilege of living in a free and fair democracy. That is something we must NEVER take for granted.

For too long, we have not done right by our Vets. That needs to change. On this Veterans Day, let us recommit ourselves to treating those who have sacrificed for us with the dignity, honor, and respect they deserve.
