Winning the Endorsement Fight

Sunday night, Jeff proudly received the endorsement of the Town & Country Democratic Club. This means he's now won two of the first three Democratic endorsements of this Congressional race, with our incumbent Ami Bera winning none. Jeff's first endorsement came from the JFK Democratic Club of Sacramento County, and earlier this month, Bera fell short of winning the early endorsement of the Democratic Party. And an incumbent getting a "no" endorsement is always a win for the challenger.

This shows how Jeff's principled platform is getting traction and spreading. It also disproves those who think Bera is as unbeatable as Barack Obama. But Jeff's early success shouldn’t surprise. Corporate-backed politicians are out of favor, and Bera has voted too often with Republicans for a district now solidly Democratic.

So help keep the momentum going. Jeff doesn't need to match Bera dollar for dollar, but he does need fundraising help. If you live in the CA-7, give what is possible today, and urge your friends, family and social media followers to do the same. 

First Campaign Ad 

With the millions Ami Bera raises from corporations, PACs and rich donors outside the CA-7, he will surely out-advertise Burdick for Congress, but this week, Jeff ran the first ad of the campaign in The Folsom Telegraph.
