Hi friend -- Today, I had the honor of commemorating Veterans Day by participating in the Davidson County Veterans Day Parade.

I also just recently attended a retirement ceremony for one of my former military aides at the Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia. It was one of the most touching events I have ever attended.

We have the greatest military in history because of the dedication, integrity, and sacrifice of the people and families who serve.

Our servicemembers deserve world-class benefits and healthcare, including mental healthcare. They've earned it.

I'm honored to help our servicemembers by sitting on the House Armed Services Committee.

As long as I'm in Congress, Middle Tennessee will have a strong voice for veterans. That's a promise.
