Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, which is hosted by the Student PIRGs' National Student Campaign Against Hunger and Homelessness and the National Coalition for the Homeless, is designed to educate the public, draw attention to the problem of poverty, and build up the base of volunteers and supporters for local anti-poverty agencies.

Hundreds of colleges, high schools, and community groups joined in last year’s nationwide week of action, holding fundraisers, food drives, educational events, and more. If you work with a club or organization - now is the time to make your plans and register your event on our website. We'll make sure you get resources and materials to help you plan a great Awareness Week. You can follow along using the hashtags #hhweek and #hhweek2021.
