Dear friend,

In October, we saw a wave of strikes, as workers -- many of whom have put their health at risk throughout the pandemic -- recognized their power, and demanded a fair contract. And the labor movement is only gaining momentum.

From striking taxi drivers in New York City and healthcare workers in Buffalo, to stage workers authorizing a strike in Hollywood, we’ve seen the power of working people standing together for a living wage and workplace protections.

I’m proud to support these workers and to advocate for unions from Congress. Last spring, I joined my colleagues in the House and voted to pass the PRO Act, which would guarantee every worker has the right to organize. Although the measure hasn’t passed the Senate yet, we have included many of the key provisions in the Build Back Better Act -- which I’m looking forward to passing this month.

But the fight for labor justice is far from over. Can I count on you to donate today to send a clear message that we stand with striking workers -- and that we need to protect the right to organize? [[link removed]]

Our collective power is as strong as ever -- and when we organize, we win!

This Strikegiving, will you join me in fighting to protect that right? [[link removed]]
