I want to talk to you about a day that is so important to me.

Today is Veterans Day.

On this day, families across the country will reflect and celebrate all our heroes and loved ones who have served our country so bravely.

For me, today is a day to honor one of my greatest heroes, my father.

My father served our country as a fighter pilot in WWII fighting the Nazis.

He was driven to his service by his perseverance and his love for our country -- something I admire about him to this day.

Americans today can learn so much from our Veterans.

Our veterans show us what it means to pursue our mission with passion, with bravery, and with a full heart.

Whether it be fighting on the battlefield, or sticking up for our neighbors in our communities, we can all agree that our nation is driven by love and protection for one another.

That is what I want each and every one of you to remember on this Veterans Day, and what I know my dad would want you all to remember, too.

I’m so thankful to be fighting alongside you today and everyday.
