Friends,
On this Veterans Day, we salute and commemorate the men and women who have proudly worn the uniform and so bravely fought to protect our country and our democracy, along with the families who served alongside them.
We must continue to express our enduring gratitude for their service, both in words and action.
I’m proud of the fact that the U.S. Virgin Islands along with other territories send more men and women per capita to serve in the military than anywhere else in the nation.
Just as our servicemen and women vow to leave no soldier behind on the battlefield, WE vow today and everyday not to forget any veteran when they return home.
