I join all Americans and Wisconsinites today in gratitude for everything our veterans have done for this great nation.

From deployments and months away from their families, to uprooting and relocating, to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, the men and women of our armed forces truly put our nation’s interests ahead of their own.

For 27 years in our country's Army Reserve, I have had the good fortune to meet and work with so many of our country's heroes, and I hope you join with me today to honor their service and their sacrifice. In Congress, I am honored to offer my wholehearted service to our veterans with my voice and my vote.

To all our nation's veterans: THANK YOU. I will never stop fighting for you and all you do for us.
